Prospect Ridge Academy couldn’t quite keep up with a potent The Academy squad, losing by a score of 55-18 on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Homecoming at Adams Five Star Stadium.

Brandon Boston led The Academy’s passing attack with 285 yards through the air, tossing four touchdowns without an interception. Boston also added 58 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Boston’s most reliable receiver in the ballgame was Francisco Diaz de leon, who caught four passes for 92 yards and two scores. Isaiah Eliot contributed in the passing game as well, grabbing four passes for 89 yards and one touchdown. The Academy also got 80 yards receiving and one touchdown from Gabriel Espinosa in the contest.

Charlie States paced The Academy rushing game by racking up 111 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 15.9 yards per carry.

Prospect Ridge Academy quarterback Dylan Meredith led the passing attack with 128 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown with no interceptions. Meredith also added 86 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Dylan Meredith’s most reliable receiver in the contest was Bryson Kenyon, who caught six passes for 87 yards and one score.

Seth Hagan spearheaded the Prospect Ridge Academy rushing attack by finishing with 178 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 7.7 yards per carry.

Next up for each team, The Academy will play host to Eaton, while Prospect Ridge Academy will travel to play Berthoud.
