A-Basin opened for two hours on Friday in order to beat Keystone to the punch

On Friday afternoon, Arapahoe Basin won the race to be first to open for the 2019-2020 ski season. A-Basin was only open from 3:30-5:30 p.m., but the ski area reopens at 8:30 a.m. Saturday for those who want to take advantage of this year’s early start, and Keystone opens Saturday at 9 a.m.
