Eaglecrest easily put away Overland by a score of 56-26 on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Legacy Stadium.

Eaglecrest quarterback Max Marsh led the passing attack with 210 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns without an interception. Marsh also added one touchdown on the ground. Langston Williams lead all Eaglecrest receivers with two catches for 105 yards and one score.

David Creal spearheaded the Eaglecrest rushing attack by finishing with 290 yards and five touchdowns in the contest, averaging 10 yards per carry. Creal also tacked on 26 receiving yards and one touchdown. Kobe Williams added 89 yards on the ground, averaging 9.9 yards per carry.

Martavia “Mark” Thrower powered Overland’s passing attack with 328 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns and two interception. Ismael Cisse contributed in the passing game as well, catching five passes for 81 yards. Overland also got 80 yards receiving and two touchdowns from Jawan Lacour in the contest.

Jaheim Roper spearheaded the Overland ground game by finishing with 90 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 11.2 yards per carry. Roper also tacked on 102 receiving yards.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Eaglecrest heading to play Cherry Creek and Overland taking on Cherokee Trail.
