Hundreds gathered in Denver’s Civic Center on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, for a climate protest featuring, among others, climate activist Greta Thunberg. The event was organized by a diverse group, including the International Indigenous Youth Council, Fridays for Future, Youth Climate Strikes U.S., 350 Colorado, Greenpeace and Extinction Rebellion Denver and was held shortly after a Sept. 20 climate strike.
