Skyview couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Mead squad, losing by a score of 48-0 on Friday, Oct. 11.

Brady Veltien led Mead’s passing attack with 88 yards through the air.

Jake Wachter lead the Mead rushing game by accumulating 110 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 18.3 yards per carry. Wachter also tacked on 53 receiving yards and one touchdown. Brayden Keys added 92 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 46 yards per carry.

Brandon Gutierrez led Skyview’s aerial attack with 71 yards through the air. Skyview’s leading receiver was George Mendoza, who caught three passes for 39 yards.

Brian Guevara lead all Skyview rushers with 35 yards in the contest.

Mead will stay home and play Northfield, while Skyview will travel to play Denver North.
