Heritage couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Montrose squad, losing by a score of 49-27 on Friday, Oct. 11.

Conner Cummiskey led Heritage’s aerial attack with 263 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns and one interception. Cummiskey’s favorite target in the ballgame was Terrance Ferguson, who caught eight passes for 156 yards and two scores. Erik Olsen got involved in the passing game as well, reeling in two passes for 69 yards and one touchdown.

Grayson Gallardo spearheaded the Heritage ground game by finishing with 45 yards in the contest, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

Next up for each team, Heritage will stay home and play Aurora Central, while Montrose will travel to play Denver South.
