Cheyenne Mountain couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Pine Creek squad, losing by a score of 62-0 on Friday.
Pine Creek quarterback Gavin Herberg led the passing attack with 134 yards through the air. Herberg also added 25 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Nathanial Vasquez lead all Pine Creek receivers with one reception for 52 yards and one score. Zachary Barnes got in on the action in the passing game as well, snagging two passes for 51 yards.
David “dm3” moore iii spearheaded the Pine Creek rushing attack by finishing with 191 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 19.1 yards per carry.
Pine Creek will stay home and play Mesa Ridge, while Cheyenne Mountain will travel to play Vista Ridge.
