Rangely handed Hayden a loss in a 30-12 showdown on Friday at Rangely High School, Stadium.
Anthony Lujan powered Rangely’s passing attack with 126 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and two interceptions. Lujan also added 87 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Ryan Richens lead all Rangely receivers with four catches for 97 yards and two scores.
Zane Varner lead the Rangely ground attack by running for 90 yards in the game, averaging 4.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Rangely hosting Soroco and Hayden taking on West Grand.
