Vista PEAK Prep earned a win when they defeated Hinkley 27-21 on Friday, Oct. 11 at APSS.

Ja’derris Carr-kersh spearheaded the Vista PEAK Prep rushing attack by running for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 8.7 yards per carry.

Xavier Starks powered Hinkley’s passing attack with 120 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Starks also added 41 yards on the ground. Cristian Gonzalez lead all Hinkley receivers with two receptions for 48 yards.

Ty’ren Draper paced all Hinkley rushers with 65 yards and one touchdown in the game. Dorian Fox added 52 yards on the ground, averaging 4.7 yards per carry, as well as 32 receiving yards and one touchdown.

In their next games, Hinkley will stay home and play Standley Lake, while Vista PEAK Prep will travel to play Centaurus.
