Vista PEAK Prep earned a win when they beat Hinkley 27-21 on Friday at APSS.

Ja’derris Carr-kersh lead all Vista PEAK Prep rushers with 122 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 8.7 yards per carry.

Hinkley quarterback Xavier Starks led the passing attack with 120 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Starks also added 41 yards on the ground. Hinkley’s leading receiver was Cristian Gonzalez, who caught two passes for 48 yards.

Hinkley’s rushing attack was lead by Ty’ren Draper who tallied 65 yards and one touchdown in the contest. Dorian Fox added 52 yards on the ground, averaging 4.7 yards per carry, as well as 32 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Hinkley will stay home and play Standley Lake, while Vista PEAK Prep will travel to play Centaurus.
