Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Weld Central squad, losing by a score of 24-0 on Friday, Oct. 11.

Levi Gerkin paced the Weld Central ground game by racking up 69 yards and three touchdowns in the contest. Zayne Stam added 67 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.

Servando Perez led Valley’s aerial attack with 63 yards through the air. Perez’s favorite target in the ballgame was Jeff Gore, who caught two passes for 30 yards.

Weld Central will stay home and play Fort Lupton, while Valley will travel to play Brush.
