Wiggins narrowly lost to Wray in a 16-13 game on Friday, Oct. 11.

Wray quarterback Tyler Collins led the aerial attack with 128 yards through the air. Collins also added 78 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Hagan Smith lead all Wray receivers with four receptions for 67 yards and one score. Junior Arambula got in on the action in the passing game as well, grabbing one pass for 56 yards.

In addition to Cole Kerr’s effort, Eric Flores paced the Wiggins rushing game by racking up 31 yards in the contest, averaging 7.8 yards per carry. Flores also tacked on 122 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Wray hosting Holyoke and Wiggins taking on Yuma.
