Air Academy earned a win when they defeated Coronado 34-20 on Thursday.
Air Academy’s rushing attack was spearheaded by Sam Beers who racked up 224 yards and three touchdowns in the game, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. Cole Edmondson added 66 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 11 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Air Academy heading to play Widefield and Coronado taking on Pueblo West.
Coronado has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
