Chaparral earned a win when they beat Doherty 35-21 on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Konnor Ruth powered Chaparral’s passing attack with 115 yards through the air. Ruth also added two touchdowns on the ground. Chaparral’s leading receiver was Jake Kiland, who caught five passes for 107 yards. Josh Covak contributed in the passing game as well, catching two passes for 70 yards and one touchdown.

Chaparral’s rushing attack was spearheaded by Zack Lehmann who tallied 37 yards and one touchdown in the game.

Chaparral will stay home and play Fountain-Fort Carson, while Doherty will travel to play Regis Jesuit.
