Cheyenne Wells easily put away Eads by a score of 73-32 on Saturday at Eads High School, Football Field.
Eads quarterback Damien Barnes led the passing attack with 75 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown with no interceptions. Barnes also added 233 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Eads’ leading receiver was Hatch Nelson, who caught one pass for 50 yards and one score.
In addition to Damien Barnes’ effort, Donte Sierra lead the Eads rushing game by gaining 4 yards in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Cheyenne Wells heading to play Cheraw and Eads taking on Hanover.
