Gilpin County easily defeated Plateau Valley by a score of 40-0 on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Blake Boulter led Gilpin County’s passing attack with 120 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown without an interception. Boulter also added 20 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Stephen King lead all Gilpin County rushers with 125 yards in the game, averaging 8.9 yards per carry. King also tacked on 99 receiving yards.
Matthew Allen spearheaded the Plateau Valley rushing attack by running for 102 yards in the contest, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.
In their next games, Plateau Valley will play host to Vail Christian, while Gilpin County will travel to play Vail Christian.
