Plateau Valley couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Gilpin County squad, losing by a score of 40-0 on Saturday.
Blake Boulter powered Gilpin County’s passing attack with 120 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Boulter also added 20 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Stephen King lead the Gilpin County ground attack by racking up 125 yards in the game, averaging 8.9 yards per carry. King also tacked on 99 receiving yards.
Plateau Valley will play host to Vail Christian, while Gilpin County will travel to play Vail Christian.
