Longmont handed Greeley West a loss in a 31-14 showdown on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Keegan Patterson led Longmont’s passing attack with 300 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Patterson also added 100 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Longmont’s leading receiver was Sage Yazzie, who caught five passes for 142 yards. Caleb Johnson contributed in the passing game as well, hauling in four passes for 83 yards and one touchdown.
In addition to Patterson’s effort, Brayden Engelking paced the Longmont rushing attack by gaining 69 yards in the contest, averaging 6.3 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Greeley West will play host to Brighton, while Longmont will travel to play Windsor.
