Ridge View Academy handed Bishop Machebeuf a loss in a 22-12 showdown on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Ryan Schmitt led Bishop Machebeuf’s passing attack with 174 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Schmitt’s favorite target in the contest was Jack Farmer, who caught two passes for 81 yards and one score.
Darius Richards spearheaded the Bishop Machebeuf ground game by running for 85 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Richards also tacked on 75 receiving yards.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Ridge View Academy heading to play Riverdale Ridge and Bishop Machebeuf taking on Englewood.
