Edison couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Genoa-Hugo squad, losing by a score of 58-13 on Friday, Oct. 18.
Wyatt Miller powered Genoa-Hugo’s passing attack with 45 yards through the air. Miller also added 178 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
Genoa-Hugo was lead by Colby Simmons and his 112 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 10.2 yards per carry. Simmons also tacked on 31 receiving yards.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Genoa-Hugo heading to play Idalia and Edison taking on Colorado School for the Deaf Blind.
