Castle View couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Highlands Ranch squad, losing by a score of 35-13 on Friday, Oct. 18.

Jake Rubley led Highlands Ranch’s passing attack with 125 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown with no interceptions. Rubley’s most reliable receiver in the game was Jade Arroyo, who caught three passes for 71 yards and one score.

Dylan Gurule lead all Highlands Ranch rushers with 134 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 6.1 yards per carry. Kole Lundquist added 109 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

Castle View’s ground attack was paced by Zane Wodark who racked up 116 yards in the game, averaging 11.6 yards per carry. Jordan Jackson added 61 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.

Castle View will stay home and play Rock Canyon, while Highlands Ranch will travel to play Mountain Vista.
