Delta easily handled Moffat County by a score of 52-0 on Thursday, Oct. 24 at Thursday Game.
Delta quarterback Nolan Bynum led the passing attack with 159 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns with no interceptions. Bynum also added one touchdown on the ground. Delta’s leading receiver was Nathan Workman, who caught three passes for 82 yards and one score. Hunter Hughes contributed in the passing game as well, hauling in four balls for 64 yards and two touchdowns.
Timothy Horn lead the Delta ground attack by running for 83 yards in the game, averaging 6.9 yards per carry.
Joseph Campagna lead all Moffat County rushers with 51 yards in the contest, averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Delta heading to play Coal Ridge and Moffat County taking on Rifle.
