
Falcon won by just a single point over Canon City on Friday, Oct. 25.
Francisco Ponce led Falcon’s aerial attack with 115 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown without an interception. Ponce also added 31 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Colton Minnich lead all Falcon receivers with two catches for 58 yards.
Darius Mcfarland paced the Falcon rushing attack by racking up 135 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.9 yards per carry.
Canon City quarterback Harrison Pilafas led the passing attack with 94 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Canon City’s leading receiver was Seth Newton, who caught four passes for 47 yards and one score.
Dylan O’Rourke paced the Canon City rushing attack by accumulating 58 yards and one touchdown in the contest.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Falcon hosting Sierra and Canon City taking on Mitchell.
