
McClave couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Holly squad, losing by a score of 35-6 on Friday, Oct. 25.
Holly quarterback Dakota Eaton led the passing attack with 127 yards through the air. Eaton also added 48 yards on the ground. Holly’s leading receiver was Alex Ramos, who caught three passes for 63 yards and one score.
Donovan Pecina spearheaded the Holly rushing attack by running for 88 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 14.7 yards per carry. Andy Ramos added 81 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 9 yards per carry, as well as 37 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Maverick Leighty paced all McClave rushers with 118 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
In their next games, McClave will play host to Hoehne, while Holly will travel to play Springfield.
