Pomona won by just a single point over Columbine on Thursday, Oct. 24 at NAAC Stadium.

Brady Ritzmann powered Pomona’s passing attack with 175 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Jack Pospisil lead all Pomona receivers with four catches for 81 yards and one score. Chase Lopez got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in three passes for 65 yards and one touchdown.

Pomona’s rushing game was paced by Dominick Nichols who accrued 103 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.

Jadon Holliday led Columbine’s passing attack with 179 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown with no interceptions. Osirus Smith lead all Columbine receivers with two catches for 48 yards.

Columbine’s ground attack was lead by Adam Harrington who accrued 38 yards in the contest.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Pomona heading to play Ralston Valley and Columbine taking on Arvada West.
