Denver area residents woke to light snow that is expected to continue falling, even hard this afternoon, for the rest of the day. The Denver metro area is predicted to get between 8-12 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Denver could set its coldest October temperature record tonight if the low reaches -2 degrees.
