One person died Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash in Clear Creek Canyon in Jefferson County.
The crash happened on U.S. 6 at about 7:45 p.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Fatal crash Clear Creek Canyon.A vehicle crashed upside down into Clear Creek and one person has been confirmed dead, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a CSP spokesman. Investigators believed the victim was the only person in the vehicle, described as a 2001 Acura SUV.
Traffic in the canyon has been closed in both directions while authorities investigate.
