COLORADO SPRINGS — People in ColoradoWednesday morning.
Two bear cubs were playing with the tree branches outside of KOAA’s building in Colorado just after 4 a.m.
Video captured from the KOAA Colorado Springs studio off Rockrimmon Boulevard shows the cubs running away to catch up with mama bear after spending a little time playing with the tree.
Those already at the station were able to watch the cubs from behind the window, while some had to wait in their cars for the cubs to leave.
Bears are currently in a state of hyperphagia, or an increased hunger and appetite, as they fatten up for winter hibernation.
