The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Thursday afternoon after he walked into the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Centennial saying he had a bomb in his car, the department tweeted.

“ACSO did not find any device in the man’s vehicle at the District Attorney’s Office,” the sheriff’s office tweeted.

The shelter-in-place order for area businesses was lifted after no explosives were found, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s bomb squad first reported it was investigating “a suspicious device” after the man entered the district attorney’s office.
