Westminster earned a win when they defeated Rangeview 30-16 on Friday, Oct. 25.

Romeo Rodriguez led Westminster’s aerial attack with 152 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns without an interception. Amir Abdullah lead all Westminster receivers with two catches for 51 yards.

Ezequiel Loera lead the Westminster rushing attack by racking up 70 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Loera also tacked on 38 receiving yards. Victor Lopez added 70 yards on the ground, averaging 7 yards per carry.

Trevonta Rogers spearheaded the Rangeview ground game by gaining 94 yards in the game, averaging 6.3 yards per carry.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Westminster hosting Smoky Hill and Rangeview taking on Denver East.
