Legacy handed Horizon their first loss in a close 31-28 victory on Friday at Adams 12 North Stadium.

Adarius Edwards led Legacy’s passing attack with 172 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Edwards also added 35 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Edwards’ most relied on target in the contest was Jacob Duran, who caught six passes for 48 yards.

Dakota Key lead the Legacy ground game by running for 108 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 6 yards per carry. Key also tacked on 38 receiving yards.
