The deadline for purchasing Epic Passes has been extended a week, and a deadline for purchasing Ikon Passes has been set for Dec. 12.
Broomfield-based Vail Resorts previously set a deadline of Nov. 24 for every category, but on Monday, the company announced an extension to Dec. 2. It applies to the Epic Pass (currently priced at $989), Epic Local Pass ($739) and Epic Day passes (prices vary, depending on the number of days purchased).
Alterra Mountain Co., based in Denver, had not set a deadline for the before now.
