
Legend earned a win when they defeated Rocky Mountain 35-23 on Saturday, Nov. 9 at at Echo Park Stadium.
Kalen Shoemaker powered Legend’s passing attack with 211 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns without an interception. Gavin Liljehorn lead all Legend receivers with five receptions for 145 yards and two scores. Jackson Warner contributed in the passing game as well, hauling in six passes for 62 yards.
Blake Rarog spearheaded the Legend rushing attack by finishing with 192 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 8.3 yards per carry. Connor Eise added 50 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 7.1 yards per carry.
Giles Pooler led Rocky Mountain’s passing attack with 296 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interception. Pooler’s favorite receiver in the contest was Holden Lefke, who caught seven passes for 98 yards.Connor Stephenson contributed in the passing game as well, grabbing eight passes for 94 yards. Rocky Mountain also got 58 yards receiving and one touchdown from Tyler Jennings in the contest.
Sean Kidd spearheaded the Rocky Mountain rushing attack by running for 106 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
