Sterling won by a single touchdown in their 21-14 win over Resurrection Christian on Saturday, Nov. 23.
Brock Shalla powered Sterling’s passing attack with 176 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and one interception. Sterling’s leading receiver was Tucker Myers, who caught five passes for 94 yards and one score. Jackson Keil contributed in the passing game as well, hauling in two balls for 54 yards and one touchdown.
Conner Polenz lead all Sterling rushers with 34 yards in the game, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
Buck Coors powered Resurrection Christian’s passing attack with 160 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and two interception. Will Schrotenboer lead all Resurrection Christian receivers with five catches for 71 yards and two scores.
Tanner Applebee spearheaded the Resurrection Christian ground game by finishing with 20 yards in the game.
