With weekend bus service from Denver to three Colorado ski areas beginning next weekend, CDOT will unveil its new branded Snowstang buses today in a media event at Denver Union Station.
Beginning Dec. 14, Snowstang will provide Saturday and Sunday service to Arapahoe Basin, Loveland . Each Snowstang bus will bear the logo of the ski area it will be serving.
Snowstang is a new service offered by CDOT, building off the success of its inter-regional Bustang express routes which offer service from Denver to Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Colorado Springs, Vail and more far-flung destinations including Alamosa, Durango and Gunnison.
Round-trip Snowstang fares will be $25 to Arapahoe Basin and Loveland and $40 to Steamboat. In addition to weekend service, Snowstang also will operate on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and Presidents Day. Buses will pick up passengers at Denver Union Station and the Federal Center Station park and ride in Lakewood.
