
MONTREAL — Avalanche left wing and team captain will return from a 16-game injury absence Thursday, and winger also will play against the Canadiens after missing three games to injury, but injury-plagued Colorado will face Montreal without standout forward .
Kadri suffered a lower-body injury in Wednesday’s 3-1 victory at Toronto, his former team, and will miss his first game of the season.
“Status quo for us,” Avs coach said. “Get one back (and) lose one. It seems like the way it’s been going for us here. But getting (Landeskog and Burakovsky) back, obviously, is a big boost for our team and then hopefully Naz is not serious and he can get back and play for us soon.”
