If you are a fan of college basketball and don’t have any plans tonight, you might consider heading to Fort Collins for a classic college basketball matchup with Colorado State playing host to the University of Colorado.
The Rocky Mountain Showdown of college hoops is set to tipoff at 6 p.m. Friday night at Moby Arena. The No. 24 ranked Buffs (7-2) head to Fort Collins looking to rebound from back-to-back losses after falling to Kansas on Saturday and getting upset at home by Northern Iowa on Tuesday.
The Rams have their eyes set on beating their in-state rival at home at the annual “White Out” game at Moby. Known for its intimate atmosphere, Moby is considered one of the best home-court advantages in the country.
Moby Arena is an old school arena and a must-see venue for basketball fans around Colorado, and Friday night’s tilt between the Rams and Buffs is sure to be a humdinger.
If you’re not going to be in attendance, you can catch the matchup on TV as the contest will be aired on CBS Sports.
However, the atmosphere of Moby Arena is sure to be rocking… and if you’re lucky you might even run into the Rams’ new head football coach Steve Addazio.
