There will be plenty of sunshine in the metro area during the next few days.

Friday is expected to be sunny with a high temperature near 46 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

There will be a little bit of wind with gusts as high as 16 mph and an overnight low around 27.

With the mercury climbing to 58 degrees and clear skies, Saturday “will be a good day to take your Christmas lights down,” said Greg Hanson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

Saturday’s overnight low is expected to be around 26 degrees.

Sunday will be sunny with a high near 49 degrees and an overnight low around 25.

Monday is expected to be sunny with a high near 42 and an overnight low around 21.

Tuesday is expected to be sunny with a high near 48 and a low around 24 degrees.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 50 degrees and an overnight low around 23.
