
Cherry Creek dominated from beyond the arc, drilling nine treys in their 78-48 win over Mullen on Wednesday.
Cherry Creek was paced in scoring by Julian Hammond III who put up 28 points while also recording seven rebounds and four assists. Thomas Hawley and Sebastian Cole also had solid games contributing 12 points each.
Mullen was lead in scoring by Ethan Heffern who put up 13 points, while also collecting one rebound and one assist. Brayden Carter and Manny Essex also had notable performances contributing 13 points and 10 points, respectively.
Mullen will stay home and play Smoky Hill, while Cherry Creek will travel to play Arapahoe.
