
The Cherokee Trail Cougars narrowly lost to the Grandview Wolves in a 55-52 contest on Wednesday.
Tanner Holtman lead Grandview with 17 points scored, while also recording two assists. Caleb Mcgill and Lian Ramiro also had productive games contributing 16 points and 12 points, respectively.
Cherokee Trail was paced in scoring by Phillip Toledo who accounted for 21 points while collecting five rebounds. Tre Titus had a good night, recording 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Grandview hosting Eaglecrest and Cherokee Trail taking on Overland.
