The Classical Academy was a force to be reckoned with in the paint, snagging 63.3 of all rebounds and swatting five shot attempts in their 59-27 victory over Mitchell on Thursday.
The Classical Academy was lead in scoring by Brooka Jones who scored 14 points while also collecting five rebounds. Shenna Daum and Kaelen Boyles also had good games contributing 11 points and nine points, respectively.
Mitchell was lead in scoring by Torrai Logan who put up 11 points, while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Amari Davis had a solid night, scoring seven points.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with The Classical Academy hosting Harrison and Mitchell taking on Canon City.
