Doherty easily handled the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans by a score of 62-40 on Saturday.
Taryn Lindsey lead Doherty with 19 points scored while also collecting six rebounds and six assists. Caylee Dewitt and Aujanae Latimer also had respectable games contributing 12 points and 10 points, respectively.
Fountain-Fort Carson was lead in scoring by Danae Christensen who scored 22 points while collecting eight rebounds. Torie Bass helped the effort by contributing six points and four rebounds.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Doherty hosting Mountain Vista and Fountain-Fort Carson taking on Coronado.
