
Alamosa dominated from beyond the arc, drilling 13 threes in their 61-12 victory over Monte Vista on Saturday.
Alamosa was lead in scoring by Emily Lavier who scored 38 points while also collecting three rebounds. Lilly Lavier had a solid night, recording six points, nine rebounds and 11 assists.
Monte Vista was paced in scoring by Analysia Perea who put up six points while collecting one rebounds. Syriah Bernal and Mareh Medina also had solid games contributing two points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Alamosa heading to play Bayfield and Monte Vista taking on Pagosa Springs.
