The Sanford Indians easily defeated the South Park Burros by a score of 60-6 on Friday, Jan. 17.
Sanford was paced in scoring by Asia Caldon who put up 13 points while also recording five rebounds and three assists. Cheyenne Caldon helped by contributing 11 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
South Park was paced in scoring by Lyndsay Wishowski who scored zero points while grabbing two rebounds. Kaylin Medina and Lyndarosa Gonzales also had respectable performances contributing zero points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Sanford heading to play Center and South Park taking on Cotopaxi.
