The Thornton Trojans easily defeated the Alameda Pirates by a score of 71-42 on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Thornton was lead in scoring by Tristen Rose who accounted for 18 points while also recording three rebounds and one assist. Alfonso Salais helped the effort by chipping in 14 points and six rebounds.
In their next games, Alameda will stay home and play Jefferson, while Thornton will travel to play Hinkley.
