The Dolores Bears earned a win when they defeated the Dove Creek Bulldogs 59-53 on Tuesday.
Dolores was paced in scoring by Kevin Purkat who accounted for 16 points while also grabbing four rebounds. Trey Seekins aided the effort by chipping in 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists.
Dove Creek was paced in scoring by Kade Hankins who scored 21 points while grabbing six rebounds. Hayden Gray recorded a double-double, scoring 15 points and collecting 14 rebounds.
Looking ahead to their next games, Dolores will stay home and play Mancos, while Dove Creek will travel to play Telluride.
