Peyton dominated from downtown, hitting nine threes in their 62-33 victory over Calhan on Tuesday.
Kayleigh Mannering lead Peyton with 29 points scored while also recording five rebounds and one assist. Paige Gowen and Shelby Miller also had productive games contributing 12 points and nine points, respectively.
Calhan was paced in scoring by Jaiden Monger who put up 10 points, while also collecting seven rebounds and three assists. Justine Hodges and Jenni Ellis also had solid performances contributing 10 points each.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Peyton heading to play Burlington and Calhan taking on Fowler.
