The Prairie View Thunderhawks narrowly lost to the Gateway Olympians in a 44-42 contest on Wednesday.

Gateway was lead in scoring by Antwuan Smith who put up 11 points while also recording three rebounds and two assists. Dj Wilson had a productive night, scoring nine points.

Prairie View was paced in scoring by Xavier Torres who scored 13 points while collecting two rebounds. Dominic Marrujo had a notable night, recording 11 points, two rebounds and two assists.

In their next games, Gateway will stay home and play Hinkley, while Prairie View will travel to play Rangeview.
