American Grind has shuttered in the Speer neighborhood less than six months after opening.

Fans of the local burger brand that moved from the Avanti food hall in Lower Highland to Pennsylvania Street can still find it in Denver, though.

For now, American Grind is operating out of the cocktail bar at 2706 Larimer St. The business officially closed on Pennsylvania at the end of December

“We were bleeding money,” American Grind co-owner Jared Schwartz of the decision to close and move.
