A fiery two-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 north of Pueblo on Tuesday afternoon killed a 70-year-old man.

The crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway, Trooper Josh Lewis said. A 55-year-old woman who was injured in the crash was taken to a local hospital.

Traffic was diverted from the highway and the northbound lanes were shut down by the crash. Lanes of the highway reopened at about 7:30 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
